G2 RE Disc Brake

G2 RE is SRAM's braking solution designed for trail ready E-MTBs, capable of handling the higher average speeds and increased mass. It combines the proven G2 R lever with a powerful 4-piston caliper derived from the gravity-focused Code brakes. G2 RE provides real, usable on-trail control-optimal power and modulation mean speed can be controlled in all terrain and in all situations, both uphill and downhill.

• Lever is based on SRAM's proven G2 R Level brake platform and features a cast aluminum body with stamped aluminum blade
• Tool-less reach adjustment to fit rider's hands
• Utilizes the same proven MatchMaker X clamp system
• Caliper features a forged aluminum body and (4) phenolic pistons that have excellent insulator properties
• Includes steel-backed sintered brake disc pads. Compatible with all SRAM Code disc brake pads.
