Details

The SCOTT FOIL 20 has been designed to be even more aerodynamic, more comfortable, and to still have that incredible laterally stiff nature of its predecessor. Featuring an HMF Carbon Fiber frame and integrated Syncros components, the SCOTT FOIL 20 is a race ready machine at a fraction of the cost.

Ready for the start line! With a lightweight carbon frame and aero-shaped tubing, this bike jumps ahead with each pedal stroke. Superior power transfer is achieved through frame features such as an oversized bottom bracket and tapered headtube. At the same time, vertical compliance is maintained with low-mounted, thin seat stays, leading to a smooth riding experience even on rough roads. Complementing the frame's performance, the Shimano Ultegra drivetrain offers precise shifting and improved ergonomics at the brake hoods. The direct-mount rear derailleur is a simplified setup that makes it easier to install and remove the rear wheel. Ultegra caliper brakes utilize direct-mount design and provide excellent modulation and stopping power. Whether charging ahead or powering uphill, the Syncros RR2.0 wheels feature a semi-aero rim profile and a wide footprint so they respond well to accelerations and sharp turns. Syncros aero bars and carbon aero seatpost further this bike's speed need for speed.

Comments:

Benn cycling over 7 years. Currenlty 60-100 miles per week. B cyclist (16-18) AVG. This is a great bike. Very stiff and light and therefore great for climbing too. The Ultegra Group set is smooth shifting. Wheels are nice, no need to upgrade. I had the shop swap out the rear chainring to a 12-28 fearing that I need a bit more help on the steep inclines (vs the 11-25 stock). This worked out perfect for me. The bike is quiet and fast. Even the saddle is good quality. I'm impressed and happy with my purchase

Comments:

This bike zips through the wing with ease. I typically travel 10-20 miles at a time on the bike trails at Houston. I love the smooth shifting that comes with the Shimano Ultegra's group set. This is the perfect bike for long trails. My complaints are that the breaks doesn't cause the bike to "hug" the road. and for some reason I tend to get a few rear tire flats. not sure why. tires are kept at 100-110 psi.
